To connect your call tracking data to ChatGPT, turn on developer mode in ChatGPT's settings, then create a connector with the Convirza MCP server URL (connect.convirza.com/mcp), choose OAuth and sign in with your Convirza account. ChatGPT can then read your calls, transcripts and Conversation Analytics™ scores and take the actions your role allows.
How do I connect my call tracking data to ChatGPT?
You need two things: a Convirza account to sign in with, and ChatGPT with developer mode turned on.
- Turn on developer mode. In ChatGPT, open Settings > Apps & Connectors > Advanced settings and switch on Developer mode.
- Create the connector. Create a new connector, paste the Convirza server URL and choose OAuth for authentication.
- Sign in and ask. Sign in through Convirza's secure OAuth 2.0 page. ChatGPT sees what your role lets you see and does what it lets you do, nothing more.
Server URL: paste this into the new connector
https://connect.convirza.com/mcpIf something looks different
Menu names in ChatGPT can change between releases. If the path looks different, look for Developer mode under Apps & Connectors in ChatGPT's settings. If ChatGPT can read your calls but can't make a change, check your Convirza role: actions follow your permissions.
No Convirza account yet? Start free, then come back to step 3.
Why does ChatGPT need developer mode for this?
ChatGPT connects to remote MCP servers, like Convirza's, through developer mode. It's the step that's easy to miss: turn developer mode on first, and then you can create the Convirza connector with the server URL.
Developer mode doesn't change what ChatGPT can reach in Convirza. Access still runs through your own sign-in and your Convirza role. If you'd rather skip developer mode, the same server URL works in Claude: see the Claude setup guide.
What can ChatGPT do once it's connected?
ChatGPT answers from your own calls, transcripts and scores. Try asking:
- Attribution: "Which ads drove the most booked appointments this month?"
- Missed calls: "Summarize yesterday's missed calls and draft callback notes for each."
- Call scoring: "Score last week's calls by location and show me the coaching gaps."
- Transcripts: "Pull the transcript of my longest call yesterday and tell me why we lost them."
Start with the calls you're losing
Caller hangup is the primary missed-call driver across every vertical: not no-answer, not busy lines.
Source: Convirza benchmark data, all verticals.
That makes missed calls a good first question for ChatGPT. Ask it to summarize yesterday's missed calls and draft callback notes for each, and your team starts the day with a callback list instead of a report to build. See how call scoring shows what happened on the calls you did answer.

Is my call data safe when I connect ChatGPT?
Built for permissioned teams
Access mirrors your Convirza role: admins manage, standard users work, read-only users read. Connections use OAuth 2.0 with rotating tokens, your password is never shared with the assistant, and you can revoke a connection at any time from your account.
How is this different from a third-party connector?
ChatGPT connects straight to Convirza's own MCP server. There's no connector service in between, no extra account to manage, and no API key to paste. The same connection works in Claude, Cursor, VS Code and Codex; the MCP server page has setup for each one, and the developer docs cover the full tool reference.
