A few weeks ago we released an improved version of our Whisper Tone feature. It’s awesome.
Basically, here’s the way it works: when a Convirza client picks up the phone they can hear a customizable message that says something like ‘Call from Google Search’, or ‘Call from Yelp,’ or whatever. It could also say ‘Another lead from Your Agency.’
Basically Whisper Tone gives the person answering the call a brief ‘heads up’ about the type of lead that’s coming in before they actually to the lead.
We work with A LOT of agencies. These agencies customize Whisper Tones to, basically, provide free advertising whenever their clients’ phone rings.
They simply customize the Whisper Tone message within Convirza. It’s as simple as typing words into the Whisper Tone area. An automated recording will then say the words to whoever answers the phone as your client’s business.
For example, they could customize a Whisper Tone to say, “Another call produced by ‘Your Agency.”
This means that EVERY time the phone rings in your client’s business, you get free advertising. Imagine picking up the phone and hearing that Whisper Tone 5 times a day, 10 times a day, or 50 times a day. They’ll hear your agency’s name in a positive way almost constantly throughout the day.
They’ll love you.
Whisper Tone honestly might be one of the best tools agencies have in their toolbox.
Enterprises and SMBs can set up Whisper Tones to give them precise data about which marketing produced the call. It simply alerts the person answering the phone how the lead found them. This can provide immediate insight into what the caller might be asking for.
For example, if the lead is from PPC campaigns specifically for the keyword ‘new tires.’ Then you can have a Whisper Tone that says, ‘Google Adwords, New Tires.’ Immediately the person answering the call knows precisely how the caller found you and that they’re searching for new tires.
That’s incredible stuff. That provides incredible insight on how to talk to that caller. You won’t need to waste time telling them about other services. They want new tires.
