7 Hashtag Tools to Expand Your Twitter Influence

Shemmah Al-Darweesh08/07/2015

How often do you use hashtags to promote your tweets?

In addition to being aware of best practices, you may want to take advantage of hashtag tools for research and analysis.

The following post outlines 7 resources to increase the effectiveness of the hashtags in your social media campaigns. Before we take a look at the specific tools, let’s discuss the benefits associated with using the right hashtags.

Why Should I Use Hashtags?

The main reason people care about hashtags is simple:

They want to be found.

Whether they are being used for personal or professional reasons, hashtags give us the ability to connect with people who are interested in the topics we are discussing.

They can also alert you to trending topics or news that is relevant to your industry. Without overusing these hashtags, marketers are employing these tools to increase their reach as they build their brand presence.

Getting Started with Hashtag Tools

As you begin to incorporate hashtags into your campaigns, make sure that you are putting out a clear message.

If you are creating a custom hashtag then it is important to check and see if it is already being used. You can start the process by visiting hashtags.org and check out the rest of these tools to support your search and tracking efforts.
