Have you ever dreamed about flying burritos?
How about toes wearing football helmets, dancing red fanny packs or JFK’s gravely voice calling you to the sea…? No?
Neither had I until I watched these somwhat disturbing Super Bowl ads.
While the image of a flying burrito assaulting refried-bean lovers is quite amusing, it is also just a tad ominous.
GrubHub decided to promote their mobile app by threatening to give everyone and their grandma a concussion if they dared to order food with a phone call.
They make a good point though: Why would you ever want to talk to another human being if you didn’t have to?
First of all, I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I hear “Jublia” the first thing that comes to mind is not gunky toenail infections.
However, the pharmaceutical giant, Valeant, seems to have decided it’s a fitting name for a topical toenail fungal solution.
Many appetites were whetted this Super Bowl weekend by the sight of grungy toes performing out on the football field. If any Americans have been avoiding taking care of their fungus covered feet, perhaps the experience of gagging on their chips and dip will spur them into action.
Did you know that glue could save your marriage? If that doesn’t work, then you have the option of perusing this advertisement for a new prospective mate.
The stellar dance moves, trendy fanny packs and the creepy winking unicorn really drove the Loctite brand into the hearts of Super Bowl audiences nationwide.
This cruise line advertisement has been described as “poignant,” “inspiring,” and even “beautiful.”
Personally, I found it to be more than a little unnerving. Rather than building the desire to book a cruise, I found myself waiting for a hideous sea monster to burst out of the water and drag down the ship filled with unsuspecting cruise members as they played their last game of bingo.
So what do you do to get rid of the dreams? It may not be possible…
